Nomadic was founded in July 2022, tailored in motion. After spending three years teaching in Beijing, China - where founders Teacher Kamis and Joseph first met - they moved to the United Kingdom, continuing a journey that had already become deeply international.
Living and working across cultures revealed something they saw time and again: intelligent, experienced and motivated adults were still feeling held back by traditional language learning. Not because they lacked ability, but because those methods weren't designed for the way adults think, learn and grow.
Nomadic was created from that experience. A learning space designed by people who have lived internationally, for adults who see English not as a subject to study, but as a tool for greater freedom, deeper connection and a life without borders.

We believe adult learning requires clarity, responsibility and honesty. We do not promise fluency within unrealistic time frames or create false expectations. We respect the time it takes to internalise a language. At Nomadic, a deep understanding of the language always comes before mechanical repetition.
